Meghan Trainor est née le 22 décembre 1993 sur l'île de Nantucket dans le Massachusetts. Grandissant dans une famille de musiciens, elle compose des chansons depuis l'âge de onze ans. Elle est une jeune auteure, compositrice et interprète, américaine, de Pop-Music, de Rock, de Pop-Rock, de Dance et de Pop-Ado. Durant un de ses concerts, elle a rencontré Kevin Kadish, un producteur nominé aux Grammy Awards, avec lequel elle a composé, en 2014, la chanson "All About That Bass" ; le tube qui l’a révélé. Un single qui a atteint la première place du Billboard Hot 100. En 2011, Meghan Trainor sort deux albums qu'elle a elle-même écrits et autoproduits : "I'll Sing With You" et "Only 17". Et en 2015, "Title" est son premier album produit par un label. Il sort chez Epic Records.
